Political Affiliations of 2007 District Council Election Candidates include: 民主黨、中國工黨、公民力量、公民黨、民主建港協進聯盟、香港工會聯合會、民主陣線、自由黨、社會民主連線、前綫、香港公民協會、香港民主民生協進會、香港職工會聯盟、港九勞工社團聯會、街坊工友服務處、新世紀論壇、公民起動、香港南溪行、泛民主派聯盟、泛民區選聯盟、香港保守黨、中西區民主力量、南方民主同盟、麗瑤邨社區聯會基層民主社、香港中醫師權益總工會、青衣關注組、陳偉業議員辦事處
Figures for 1981, 1985, 1988, 1991 and 1994 are obtained based on information from雷競璇、沈國祥 (1995 & 1996). Figure for 1999 election is obtained based on the list of candidate maintained by the Registration and Electoral Office. No figure for 1997 because no election was held in 1997.
