The Adoption Unit finds permanent and stable homes for Wards of Director of Social Welfare (DSW Wards) whose parents are unable or unwilling to take care of them until they reach adulthood. The figures refer to the number of DSW Wards successfully adopted locally with adoption orders granted by Court.
