Figures are based on only the number of electors in contested constituencies. Figures for 1982, 1985 and 1988 elections are not available. Figure for 1994 election is used as a proxy for 1996. No election took place in 1997 and 1998. Figure for 1999 District Councils election is used as a proxy for 1998.
