操作定義
The percentage of directorate grade officers who are women. Directorate grade officers include all D1 and above or equivalent. They include civil servants working in government departments and those who have been seconded/posted to organizations e.g. Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Hospital Authority.

All figures are collected from Civil Service Bureau, Government Secretariat Civil Service Branch 1983, 1988 and 1993; Government Secretariat Civil Service Bureau, 1998 and 1999.
Figures for the years from 1997 to 2001 refer to the position as at 1 April. Statistics from 2002 onwards refer to figures as at 31 March of each year. All statistics exclude Judges, Judicial Officers, ICAC officers and locally engaged staff working in Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices.
Directorate grade officers include all ranks with maximum salary points in the range of Police Pay Scale points 55-59 and ranks with salaray pay points on the Directorate Pay Scale, Directorate (Legal) Pay Scale and General Disciplined Services (Commander) Pay Scale.
